The Smiddy comprises of a porch/bootroom, a kitchen dining room with all of the all the usual refinements (including washing machine & dishwasher) and a spacious bed/sitting room with T.V.

Wood burning stove & underfloor heating throughout.

En suite bathroom including a luxurious shower, W.C & vanity unit.

South facing burn side patio with garden bench.

Non-smokers only please.

One dog accepted @ £25 per week, we ask that owners keep their pet off all soft furnishings.

Dogs are not allowed to be left in the property on their own.

Price includes electricity.

All linen, pillows, duvets and towels are provided and the bed made up for your arrival.

The Smiddy has Wi-Fi.

There is a refundable sum of £100 which will be due with the balance of your payment. This is a Good Housekeeping Deposit for breakages/spills/general damage or any extra cleaning, and is repaid within a week after your holiday departure date.

Short Term Lets Licence - Applied for
Following recent notification from the Scottish Government that all holiday and short term letting accommodation is now required to comply with regulations and acquire a Short Term Lets licence to be able to continue trading, guests are hereby notified that our Licence Application is now in the queue and we will indicate our number when we have it.
EPC Cart Barn dated 18th July 2023 saw the EER as band D

Last year we wrote about how wonderfully well-equipped the Smiddy is. It is simply exceptional..... communications prior to our visit were very helpful in reassuring us that great care was being taken to ensure C-19 security. We’ll be booking for next year again as soon as we get home!’
